On generalized 1D integrable Hubbard models

We present the construction of integrable models of strongly correlated systems using the R-matrix formalism. At first, we review this construction for the Hubbard model (system of fermions with spin 1/2). Then, we recall the solution of this model using the Coordinate Bethe Ansatz (CBA). In the second part, we present new integrable Hubbard-like models constructed using generalized R-matrices and present their solutions using the CBA. In the outlook we argue their implications in condensed matter physics.
