The 1D Bose-Hubbard model with quasi-periodic potentials

In this talk I will present our work about the interacting 1D Bose gas in the presence of a quasi-periodic potential. Using the DMRG and the bosonization method, we analyze the localized-declocalized phase transition. We determine the phase diagram through the analysis of superfluid fraction and compressibility, and characterize the superfluid phase by the momentum distribution. We also relate our results to the recent experiments. In the end I will give briefly our new results about 1D bosonic dipolar gases.
