A few year ago it was conjectured that nodal domains of random wave functions can adequately be described by a critical percolation model. In the lecture physical arguments in favor of this conjecture are discussed and its consequences are checked numerically. In particular, it is verified that nodal domains of random wave functions are close to SLE_6 curves. It is also demonstrated that level domains of random wave functions are well described by non-critical percolation.
