Fonction spectrale du liquide de Fermi unidimensionnel chiral

Konstantin Matveev (Laboratoire national d’Argonne, Etats-Unis)

par Revaz Ramazashvili - 10 octobre 2023

I will discuss momentum-resolved tunneling into a system of spinless chiral one-dimensional fermions, such as electrons at the edge of an integer quantum Hall system. Unlike the edge of the fractional quantum Hall liquid, this system does not show power-law behavior of the density of states at low energies and should be viewed as a Fermi rather than Luttinger liquid. Nevertheless, interactions of the fermions manifest themselves as a broadening of the peak of the spectral function. I will discuss how the exact shape of the peak can be obtained in the case of strong interactions and how the many-body excitations give rise to sharp features in the dependence of the spectral function on energy.
