Thermodynamics bounds in non-equilibrium systems and applications to machines

In recents years, several relations known as "thermodynamic uncertainty relations" are emerged as bounds over the fluctuations of stochastic non-equilibrium systems.

In this talk, I will present those bounds and show theirs connection to linear response theory and generalization of the fluctuation-dissipation theorem.

When applied to stochastics machines, the thermodynamics uncertainty relations allows the derivation of constraints on behavior of such machines that I will discuss.
