Probing mixed-state entanglement with randomized measurements

Benoît Vermersch (Université Grenoble Alpes) - en visio

par Revaz Ramazashvili - 26 janvier 2021

Recently, protocols based on statistical correlations of randomized measurements were proposed to probe entanglement in synthetic quantum systems. This includes protocols to access R\’enyi entropies, many-body state fidelities, out-of-time-ordered correlators (OTOCs) and topological invariants. In this talk, I will first give an introduction to randomized measurements. Then, I will present our protocol for detecting and quantifying mixed-state entanglement, and the experimental demonstration with trapped ions.
