In low-dimensional magnetic systems, competition between different interactions can give rise to exotic low-temperature phases. In the last years, much attention has been directed to phases with non-trivial topological properties, due to their potential technological application. In this talk I will first discuss general properties of topological phases in chiral magnets. Then, I will focus on skyrmion textures in frustrated magnets. In particular, I will show results for the classical Heisenberg model in the antiferromagnetic triangular lattice, where the competition between antisymmetric interactions and Zeeman coupling induce the formation of an Antiferromagnetic Skyrmion crystal (AF-SkX) state at low temperatures.
