The goal of this book is to provide a general introduction to clusters in the various domains of science (fundamental physics, chemistry, material science, medical science) in which they are studied either for themselves or for applications. It proposes a very general introduction to the field and requires limited technicalities. The first half of the book is devoted to a general description of clusters both from experimental and theoretical viewpoints. The second half of the books focuses on properties of clusters, first in the case of free clusters, then embedded clusters and finally in relation to other fields (astrophysics, climate, medical science in particular).
