Hall effects with neutral cold atoms in 2D optical lattices

In the talk I shall discuss dynamics of cold neutral atoms in the square optical lattice subject to synthetic magnetic and electric fields. This setup mimics the Hall physics for electrons in solids yet requires a special consideration because of extremely high values of the fields, which are not accessible in the solid-state physics.
