In this talk, I will review the physics of many-body localized systems. As disorder is weakened below a critical value, these non-thermal quantum glasses melt via a continuous dynamical phase transition into a high temperature, ergodic liquid. In contrast to classical phase transitions between two different non-zero temperature phases of matter, and to quantum phase transitions between zero temperature phases, this dynamical delocalization transition represents an entirely new type of critical point in which statistical mechanics and thermalization break down sharply at a continuous phase transition. I will describe an effective model for such quantum-to-classical transitions and use it to compute their universal critical properties.
