Research interests

My research is focussed on computational approaches to quantum many body systems with strong interactions. In particular, my expertise lies in the field of quantum Monte Carlo methods, such as CT-INT and SSE. Using these methods, I recently studied statistical properties of wave functions and reduced density matrices of many body groundstates and the links to entanglement and spontaneous symmetry breaking. In a current effort, I used large scale exact diagonalization to obtain wavefunctions in the middle of the spectrum of the random field quantum Heisenberg chain and could map out the many body mobility edge as a function of energy and disorder strength.
