Dynamics of Bose-Einstein Condensate in a double-well trap : new trends and some numerical simulations

Some basics and new trends (shortcuts to adiabaticity, squeezed states...) in physics of atomic Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) in a double-well trap are outlined. The results of numerical simulations for some main BEC dynamical regimes (Josephson oscillations, macroscopic quantum self-trapping, transport) generated by the barrier-shift technique are presented.
